Akroma is a decentralized network. To connect to Akroma you interact with one of the thousands of nodes that exist on the network.

The legacy internet is also a collection of nodes. However; the difference between Akroma and the legacy internet is that: on legacy internet only 1 node runs each website or web application whereas on the Akroma network every single node contains every single website or web application.

This subtle difference between how websites and web applications are deployed on Akroma introduces many different new concepts.
